Saturday Sam or Share-A-Meal is a mission dedicated to feeding the hungry, the poor, and the homeless in our community. Every two months, volunteers meet at the church and drive to the Broward Out Reach Center in downtown Hollywood to serve a hot meal with fresh fruit and goodies to the needy.
In addition to providing food, clothing and toiletries are also collected and dispensed. To paraphrase Jesus, if you want to find God, then help “the least of them.”
Here among “the least of them,” a devoted group of volunteers experiences the goodness of God by ministering to those who are less fortunate and most vulnerable. If you would like to donate money or your time to this worthy cause, then please contact Victor Escalera at: (954) 326-8099.
