HARRIETT G. KAEBNICK SCHOLARSHIPS
Now is the time to make sure that you are really involved in our church and its activities. Involvement is a key criterion in becoming eligible to receive or renew a Harriett Kaebnick scholarship.
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must have been an active church member of HHUMC for one year or longer and have a permanent, local address. You must maintain a 2.0 or better GPA in your college work. Also, you must stay active in your church attendance and participation while in college and on school breaks.
Awards are available to help those attending any regionally accredited college or university. Scholarship amounts are determined annually based upon the economy, dividends paid, and the number of students who qualify. Applications for other types of continuing education are also considered.
Current forms to apply for a Harriett G. Kaebnick Scholarship are available online from this Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church web site and in the church office, You may want to review the forms to see what you need to do to be eligible. Applications for the upcoming academic year should be submitted after April 15th and before the May 31st deadline.
An application for a special program should be submitted at least one month prior to the start of the program.
All applicants must schedule an interview with the Kaebnick Scholarship Committee after an application has been submitted.
