Welcome to Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church
A place where faith, community, and tradition come together.
Our story began in 1959, when the Methodist Church envisioned planting a new congregation in South Florida. Under the leadership of Dr. Boren, Hollywood Hills Methodist was born. By 1960, our first chapel (now the Ministry Center) was consecrated, and over the following years, our campus grew with the dedication of our education building, and ultimately, the construction of our beautiful Sanctuary.
Built by the hands and hearts of faithful members, our church became a place of belonging, worship, and service. On Christmas of 1966, we celebrated our very first services in the Sanctuary, surrounded by the glow of our stunning stained-glass windows — including The Christus, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the iconic anchor windows that continue to inspire us today.
Built by faith, strengthened by community, and shining with the light of Christ — Hollywood Hills UMC has been a place to call home for generations, and we’re just getting started.

For over 60 years
Hollywood Hills has remained a church that welcomes everyone just as they are. We are grounded in our mission of “Making Disciples for the Transformation of the World” and are passionate about creating a space where people can experience God’s love, find purpose, and build lasting relationships.
We invite you to join us for worship, community events, or simply to stop by and say hello. Whether you’re seeking a new church home or exploring faith for the first time, we can’t wait to meet you.
